Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: 18 June 2025

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Provenare website and the services we offer. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you have any questions, contact us at [email protected] before proceeding.

1. About Us

Provenare provides estate organisation, inheritance education, and heritage storytelling services from our offices at 35 Tha Phae Road, Chang Khlan, Chiang Mai 50100, Thailand. We offer structured support to individuals and families who wish to organise important documents, understand general inheritance processes, and record family histories.

Provenare is not a law firm, financial advisory business, or licensed legal or financial services provider. Nothing we provide constitutes legal advice, financial advice, or a formal professional service in any regulated sense.

2. Our Services

We currently offer three distinct services:

Service descriptions, formats, and pricing are as set out on our website and may be updated periodically. Any changes will be reflected on the relevant service pages.

3. Enquiries and Bookings

Submitting an enquiry through our website contact form does not create a binding booking or contract. A service agreement comes into effect only when we have confirmed your booking in writing (by email) and any applicable deposit or full payment has been received.

We reserve the right to decline any enquiry at our discretion, without obligation to provide reasons.

4. Pricing and Payment

All prices are quoted in Thai Baht (āļŋ) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. Current prices are displayed on our Solutions page. Prices are subject to change; the price applicable to your booking will be confirmed at the time of booking.

Payment terms will be specified in your booking confirmation. We may require full payment in advance for certain services. Payment methods accepted will be communicated to you directly.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellation terms depend on the service and will be set out in your booking confirmation. As a general guide:

We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel sessions due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund of amounts paid will be offered, or an alternative date proposed.

6. Nature of Services — Not Professional Advice

Our Inheritance Basics course provides general educational information only. It does not constitute legal, financial, or tax advice. The content is not tailored to your specific circumstances. For advice relevant to your personal situation, you should consult a qualified lawyer, notary, financial adviser, or other relevant professional.

Our document folio and story-keeping services are organisational and creative in nature. We do not verify the legal validity, completeness, or accuracy of any documents you share with us, and we make no claims about the legal standing of any organised records.

7. Confidentiality

We understand that the materials involved in our services — family records, personal documents, and personal histories — are sensitive. We treat all such materials with care and discretion. We will not share your personal information or materials with third parties except as required by law or as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

All course materials, workshop guides, templates, checklists, and other written content produced by Provenare are our intellectual property. You may use these materials for your personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or adapt our materials for any other purpose without our prior written consent.

Materials you bring to sessions — family photographs, documents, and personal writings — remain your property at all times.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Provenare's liability in connection with any service is limited to the fees paid by you for that specific service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from your use of our services or website.

We take reasonable care in delivering our services but cannot be responsible for outcomes that depend on decisions made by you, or on advice or actions taken by third-party professionals you may engage.

10. Website Use

Our website is provided for informational purposes. We aim to keep information accurate and current but cannot guarantee that all content is complete or up to date at all times. We are not liable for any reliance placed on website content.

You may not use our website in any way that is unlawful, disruptive, or harmful to others. We reserve the right to restrict access to the website at our discretion.

11. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to external sites for reference. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any linked third-party site.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of our website or services after an update indicates acceptance of the revised terms. For material changes, we will provide reasonable notice where we are able to do so.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from these Terms or from the use of our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Chiang Mai, Thailand, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
